Florida has not been represented well in recent years.
As the GOP and Donald Trump have made the state of Florida their playground, our Governor Ron DeSantis and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott have fallen in line like good little paid soldiers for their billionaire corporations. While it has been clear for many many years, lately their far right extremism is showcasing their inability to work for the people. Their radical ideals and law-pushing fanatisism is costing us, the taxpayers, a fortune!
Who do you think paid for the very expensive lawsuit DeSantis started against Disney, just because he didn’t like them supporting gay rights? Florida taxpayers!
Isn’t it time to take our state out of the hands of these men who are ruining with their Handmaids Tale fantasies to take away the rights of women, force Christianity in the schools while removing the rights to even say Gay? Isn’t it time to get our state out of the hands of these men who care nothing about our homes, our health, our families, our rights, or our small businesses while catering to their big corporate sponsors?
While we can’t get rid of DeSantis or Rubio this election, we can put our voting focus on the Senate Seat currently held by Rick Scott who plays right into the Trumpism playbook of lying, cheating and gaslighting. Up against an amazing woman, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who cares about the rights of the working class Floridians and is fighting for the people.

This man does not represent us. He only represents himself and his own interests. It’s time for a change Florida, let’s make it happen!
